Executive Search

As a small, boutique retained search firm, HiWire has lower overhead, more flexibility and can
typically complete searches faster than most large, traditional search firms.  Combined with our
common sense, startup-friendly approach, these factors lead to simplified and significantly
lower pricing for retained searches.

We also believe in a
flat-fee approach.  That way, you know up front how much a search will
cost.  We earn the same amount regardless of the final compensation package.  We do the
same amount of work regardless of whether a CEO negotiates a total package of $300K or
$400K.  Why should our fee be 33% higher in the latter case?  Why should we be motivated to
push candidates to negotiate for higher compensation?

We believe in providing high-caliber interim executives at competitive, market-driven hourly rates
to companies that need their experience and expertise on a temporary or project-oriented basis.  
As a young, aggressive  firm with lower operating expenses, we are able to provide these
executives with a substantially lower mark up than many older, more entrenched providers.
